With over 30 years of experience in various roles, Dr. Diemer is a renowned physician and is poised to bring his expertise to clients seeking innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes and reduce costs.
Dr. Diemer graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1984 and earned his Medical Doctorate from the same university in 1988. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Academy of Physician Leadership.
Prior to joining Hall Render, Dr. Diemer served as the Chief Medical Officer for Saint Francis Healthcare System (SFHS). In this role, he was responsible for the strategic leadership and direction of the medical staff, clinical services and quality initiatives. He led the development of new clinical programs and partnerships, including the establishment of a hospitalist program and a cancer center. He also developed new models of care delivery, including telemedicine and care coordination.
